After Bath and the Van Hornes

Dan and Tara are expecting their first in May, so they came over to road test a baby boy. What is not shown in these pictures was the priceless moment when Luke did his business noisily while Riley was holding him on the couch. Dan was sitting next to them and nearly jumped into Tara's lap from the surprise (and fear?)! Classic.

Jan 17 7:40pm - Arrive at the hospital. Wait.
Jan 18 9:25pm - Jen's water broke!
11pm - Epidural
Jan 19 4am - 2-3cm dilated, labor begins in earnest
7am - 7cm, contractions every 3 minutes
9:40am - started pushing (38 hours after arrival at hospital)
10:08am - Luke Andrew was born!
The Vitals: 8lbs. 10oz. 21 in. long, Blond hair, Blue eyes.
Mom and baby boy happy and healthy
Praise God!
